Donate funds
We’re a community of people who know that food is better eaten than wasted. It’s better for our budgets, better for our communities, and better for our planet.
As a nonprofit, we rely on your donations to help make Detroit and beyond a better place to live and eat.
Your generous donation helps us get more food to people instead of landfills.
For mail-in donations, please make checks payable to Make Food Not Waste and send to:
Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church
8625 E. Jefferson Ave.,
Detroit, MI 48124
Volunteer
Lend a hand at the Upcycling Kitchen. You can help prep food in the kitchen, get meals ready for distribution, or help sort items in our pantry.
Shifts are available on Tuesday at the Salvation Army Kitchen or Thursday and Friday at Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Donate food
Reduce wasted food by feeding hungry people. We’re always accepting donations of produce or unopened food. Fill out the form and we’ll be in touch with you shortly.
